Full details were recently revealed for the winter festival Snowboxx, which will take place in the resort of Avoriaz in the French Alps from 23 - 30 March 2019. Brand new for 2019, the Tree House will feature an exclusive party with Mike Skinner in a wooden snow park in the Proclou forest, while Abode and Wilkinson (DJ) will host parties at the Igloo Stage, a party location on the slopes that can only be accessed on a snowcat.
Snowboxx’s Après sessions will take place at La Folie Douce's brand new venue in Avoriaz this year. The two Après parties in the Alps join forces to host parties with Happy Mondays' Bez, KISS FM, Crazy P Soundsytem, Hip Hop Karaoke and Ultimate Power Ballads.
Rounding off the schedule is a swath of newly announced acts including dancehall’s The Heatwave, grime’s Rude Kid, house and techno duo PAX and NTS Radio host Madam X.
Showcasing a veritable smorgasboard of sounds, previously announced artists include Craig David Presents TS5, Rudimental, Yungen, Danny Howard, Riton, Crazy P Soundsystem and DJ Luck & MC Neat. Giving party-goers a change to take to the stage, Hip Hop Karaoke will also be hosting a session.
Offering an unbeatable mix of snow, ski and sounds, Snowboxx Festival features the world's largest ski area, an open-air arena by the slopes plus a further five stages of music, legendary Après parties and an array of fun-fuelled activities.
