Eli Brown & Mason Maynard team up with Repopulate Mars for two house cuts entitled ‘Touch Me’. After their ‘Jungle Cry EP’ on Relief Records earlier this year, the UK duo joins up again with Lee Foss’ label. The pair have been making steady headway in the house music scene with Eli’s ‘Hysteria EP’ on Repopulate Mars doing well last year and Mason securing himself as a Solardo Sessions Resident at just 22 years old.
They both have releases on labels Sola, Toolroom and Relief and have garnered support from the likes of Groove Armada, Danny Howard, Skream, Steve Lawler and Annie Mac. Containing elements from both artists, ‘Touch Me’ is a meeting of minds resulting in a house roller layered with a bassline, looping synth slabs and a vocal featuring atmospherics throughout.
‘It Ain’t Easy’ offers sweeping low end and undulating percussion balanced with singing and stripped back rave samples.
