On 30th September, one night after the closing party in Ibiza, Glitterbox takes on Zurich with sets from Joey Negro, Simon Dunmore and Aston Martinez, as well as performances from Hot Heels. Joey Negro is a mainstay of contemporary disco, with a career spanning as far back as 1988, he has a discography that could arguably rival anyone in the industry.
Joining him in Zurich is Defected Records owner, Simon Dunmore. The Glitterbox head is back with another compilation album which also drops on 29th September, ‘Disco’s Revenge’, which is packed full of classics.
Aston Martinez also takes his place in this line up and he isn’t out of place. Taking to the decks at the tender age of 12, Aston quickly found his feet in the DJ world and this party will feel like a bit of a homecoming for him after having played the club as a regular back in the ‘90s alongside the likes of Roger Sanchez.
Lighting up the dancefloor and bringing Studio 54 to Kaufleuten will be the guest performers for the night, Hot Heels. Expect glitter and glamour from the Hot Heels dancers as they interact with the crowd and dance the night away.
Just like the Glitterbox albums, the parties’ soundtrack is a blend of disco and house records alongside classic anthems which have influenced the scene for over 30 years.
