This summer German house music artists, Milk & Sugar, return with new mixes of their track, ‘Ready Or Not’, which has been leading them back to their roots of funk, soul and disco music. Whilst sampling the classic "Ready or not here I come", originally from the Delfonics but probably most known from the Fugees’ 1996 version, Milk & Sugar have taken the hook and transformed into a big summer track.
Built on the foundation of a tom driven bassline, the strings and 70s-style brass of the original, these new mixes paired with the vocals of UK RnB singer Taisa Bennett take the versions to
another level.
The 2016 mixes have been served by Milk & Sugar themselves, Redondo and René Amesz. Dutch producer duo Redondo delivered two bass house interpretations whilst René Amesz puts his focus more
on the techy side of house.
