Defected In The House

With just over 3 months until the Defected Croatia 2016 festival in Tisno (11-15 August), Defected In The House recently announced their return to Ministry of Sound on 2 July as part of the label’s Road To Croatia series. This will be the last time the Defected family gathers in the UK before setting out for five days of house music in Croatia with 70 DJs, and follows the party at the club in April. Headlining the Box is Roger Sanchez, fresh from the release of his ‘Strictly Roger Sanchez’ compilation for Defected Records. The album is a definitive musical guide to possibly one of the world’s greatest house music figures and, with the Box being the space to hear classic house music on its sound system, expect to hear some of his back catalogue during the night.

Completing Defected’s line-up are Sam Divine, Simon Dunmore, Franky Rizardo, Dario D’Attis, and Man Without A Clue. Point Blank take control of the Baby Box and For The Love Of House return to the Loft.

DEFECTED CROATIA & POINT BLANK COMPETITION
Defected Croatia partners, Point Blank, are currently running a competition to give one winner the chance to land a DJ gig - a three-hour opening set on the DFTD powered by Point Blank Beach Stage at Defected Croatia on Sunday 14 August with flights covered up to a value of £800, plus accommodation for two nights. Before this, the winner and two runners up will also play for Point Blank’s Baby Box takeover at Ministry of Sound on 2 July. The competition ends on 7 June, with the winners announced on 15 June.
