This August, Motion in Bristol will be hooking up with gay club nights across Bristol to bring an entire day of ‘underground music with plenty of sass.’ Bitch, Please! welcome Honey Dijon, who draws from a wide repertoire of musical styles and combines old skool Chicago house, disco, tech-house to tribal, funk and soul.
Also on board will be Spencer Parker, who is apparently known for his productions, remixes and re-edits. HIs main home is now his own Work Them Records label, as well as being a large part of Radio Slave's Rekids title, alongside Mr.G and Nina Kraviz.
Acts from Horseplay, Switching Lanes and Amour Ami will also be providing the soundtrack to the day, with a mix of disco, house and techno as well as a XXXtra stage show from
Bristol's Pussy Posse Drag Diva's.
Motion's Artist Bar will be transformed into the Kitchen of the party, hosted by Don't Tell Your Mother. Here they'll be joined by DJ friends from local Bristol night spot havens, including R&B with Miss Dominique, Fleak from The Retreat, DJ Daddi resident of Bristol Bear Bar and residents from The Queenshilling.
