Following his last ‘Looking For Base / Search For Ecstasy’ EP, which gained support from the likes of MJ Cole and Todd Edwards, Allusion returns alongside tech-house’s D. Ramirez for the ‘So Special / Love Game’ EP.
D. Ramirez is the Ivor Novello-nominated former resident of Sankeys, Ministry of Sound and Space Ibiza, who helped forge the tech-house sound that is popular today, both through his solo productions and collaborations with Mark Knight. Allusion has been raising eyebrows since he dropped his first track ‘Think About Me’ via the ‘Pure Deep House’ album.
‘So Special’ kicks off the EP with a modern deep house melody and cool vocal cut over a shuffling house beat. On the flip is ‘Love Game’, which sees D. Ramirez showing off his tech-house chops with fat percussion and a chunky descending bassline that complements Allusion’s style.
