‘The Touch’ is the fifth single from Grum's forthcoming album. His previous singles ‘Everytime’, ‘The Theme’, ‘In Love’ and ‘Tears’ have been played across the board at BBC Radio 1 - from Zane to Annie Mac, Pete Tong to B Traits, Monki to Danny Howard (who recently had Grum do an exclusive mix for his Dance Anthems show). If you add in his remixes for the likes of Shift K3y, Sigma, Chromeo & Martin Garrix he's arguably one of the most consistently played producer/remixers right now.
It's no surprise then that Radio 1 recently asked Grum to create his first Essential Mix. His recent singles have had the kind of DJ support that reads like a who's who in club land: Solomun, Hot Since 82, Scuba, Sasha, Disclosure, Above & Beyond, DJ T, Bookashade, Axwell, Drums of Death, Slam, Russ Chimes, Tube & Berger, Huxley, Coyu, Joyce Muniz, Leftwing & Kody, Groove Armada, John Digweed, Mano Le Tough, Doctor Dru, Tensnake, Axwell, Digitalism, EDX, Mark Knight, Funk D'Void and more.
‘The Touch’ is arguably Grum's deepest, housiest release to date. Remixes come from Sébastien Léger (tough, jacking house), Solaris Heights (Sasha style deepness) and Andre Sobota (killer modern progressive).
It’s out 30 June on his own Heartbeats label.
