Cedric Gervais, who recently picked up the Best Remixed Recording Grammy for his reworking of Lana Del Ray’s ‘Summertime Sadness’, comes to London for his Ministry of Sound debut at Saturday Sessions this weekend (22nd). The French-born DJ will be flying in from his Miami base to join Wolfpack, Tim Mason and resident Tim Cullen in The Box.
Cedric, who came to prominence playing at Space in Miami and Le Queen, Paris, recently charted Top 10 on both sides of the Atlantic with his Lana Del Ray remix, hot on the heels of his career highlight track, ‘Molly’, which became a Beatport No. 1 and received an unlikely onstage plug from Madonna at a recent Ultra Music Festival.
On the night, Ministry of Sound will also be hosting a 6th anniversary party in 103, for electronic music blog, Data Transmission, featuring Electronic Youth, Lawrence Daffern & Jason Hodges, Daniel Leese, and Data Transmission DJs.
Ministry of Sound is currently flying high after an extensive refurbishment and winning its right to party at the end of 2013. The venue now features a new look Courtyard, a new VIP suite with a viewing gallery and two new balconiesoverlooking both 103 and its main room, The Box.
