Following up on his latest track, ‘Live My Life’, that he put out for free, EDX taps into his skills as a remixer to give the single proper club-ready treatment. Here, he provides a fresh take on his progressive house sound that changes the folk-house hybrid into a new track for the dance floor.
EDX has built a name around his remixes and originals. In his edit of ‘Wake Me Up’, he manifests his production technique to merge organic sounds and vocals with a synth chord-driven melody. He then compliments the more emotive sequence with a swift crescendo that drops into a deep, bass-heavy section with lush, big-room type accents.
