Episode 7 of Toolroom was recently launched and the label takes you back to the sunshine of Miami for Miami Music Week, where they spend a day with Cedric Gervais, getting the lowdown on the best spots in the city to eat, keep fit and party. It also checks out the Ultra Music Festival, where they hosted their very own Toolroom Knights stage for both weekends, and gets an insight into the development of the dance music scene from Funkagenda, Butch and Mihalis Safras.
In Miami, the label drops in on a charity basketball match, which sees some key figures in the underground house and techno scene going head to head on the court. To round up Miami, it takes a look at the diversity of clubs and parties on offer during Miami Music Week that caters for all styles of electronic music.
Later, the label heads over to Germany where Tasillo tells you what it’s like being one half of possibly Germany’s finest techno duo Pan-Pot and their relationship with renowned Berlin-based label, Mobilee Records. Next, Fritz Kalkbrenner talks about his second album ‘Sick Travellin’ and it’s global tour. In the final part of the programme, it checks out a dining experience with a difference that caters for a variety of senses combining art and music with Michelin Starred food. Check it out below.
