The Other Tribe recently announced a run of shows in April and May. They’ve been holed up in their studio in the Bristol countryside through the winter, producing the tracks that will make up their debut album due out late summer. In 2012, they urged people to ‘join the tribe’; and wherever the band went, the party vibe followed.
‘Skirts’ was the band’s ode to summertime and all the good that goes with it; ‘Sing With Your Feet’, the track released in December, found its way into many a DJ set, and favourites ‘Don’t Need No Melody’ and ‘Businessman On Diazepam’ continued the assault. The band kick things off in London on April 18 at XOYO and play a string of dates in Brighton, Manchester, Helston in Cornwall, Canterbury and Coventry.
