Just Another Day is a brand new Sunday daytime party at a secret East London location. The new space is in a location equipped with a Function One sound-system, cocktail bar and heated indoor chillout area. Kicking off on Sunday December 2, the first of many announced artists is James What, who, with previous releases on labels such as Poker Flat and a solo release on Crosstown Rebels, is going from strength to strength, even catching time to collaborate with Damian Lazarus for their track 'Rise Before Zod'.
His rise in the underground comes from a previous pedigree in quality house music production in the form of quality Poker Flat releases (‘It Feels Wrong’, ‘Reflections’ featuring Robert Owens, ‘Ghosts’, ‘Cantina’ and ‘The Dig’) he is now attempting to inject something new and different into the deep house sound with insightful vocals and haunting synth lines. James' recent 'About Love' EP met rave reviews and regularly penetrates the ever beating depths of the scene. His collaborative EP 'Rise Before Zod' with Damian Lazarus was met with a glowing 4/5 review on Resident Advisor.
