DJ Harvey is returning to the UK for a couple of Red Bull Music Academy shows in October, in London and Manchester, the first time he's returned to play on UK soil in ten years! After laying down roots in the U.S. and Hawaii, he is finally coming back to the home crowd and it should be an occasion that will be drumming up a lot of excitement among both his cult followers and the club circuit in general.
The first show is on the 19th October in London's Oval Space, and the second is in Manchester's Warehouse Project on the 25th. Both nights will see Harvey take sole stage on the decks, harking back to his legendary "all-night long" sets. Apart from a one-hour warm up DJ, it'll be Harvey non-stop, all night. Harvey comments: “I'm really looking forward to coming back to the UK to play after 10 years. These homecoming parties have been a long time in the making, and between RBMA and I we're gonna throw one hell of a party and make it nice, twice. I'm so excited. Let's bloody ave it!”
