Australian up and coming superstar producer/DJ Anthony Maniscalco better known as Hook N Sling released a preview of his latest track ‘Surrender’, featuring indie rock group Evermore. ‘Surrender’, which is being released on June 25th via Spinnin Records, is possibly one of Hook's strongest tracks to date. With a progressive build that keeps its infectious melody burning into the drop and piano keys, the impressive top line vocals come from Evermore's lead vocalist Jon Hume and gives the track an exciting indie twist.
Over the past year, Hook N Sling has delivered a number of extremely notable originals and remixes. His late 2011 release of his collaboration with Goodwill titled, ‘Take You Higher’, crossed genres from progressive house to indie rock. In 2012, Hook N Sling released two massive remixes, one for Nervo, Steve Aoki, and Afrojack's ‘We Are No One’, and another for Flo Rida's ‘Good Feeling’, both bringing with them international acclaim and attention. Proceeding the release of ‘Surrender’, he’ll be doing shows around the US and the globe with his innovative cross-genre set. Furthermore, look out for a collaboration with the NERVO girls titled ‘Reason’, and his next release, ‘Tokyo By Night’. For further info, check: www.HookNSling.com
