Awakening

Insomniac, one of the world’s premier electronic dance music events companies, and Exchange LA, which many think is the best club in Los Angeles, recently announced a new weekly trance event called  “Awakening.” The event launches June 22^nd with Tritonal and will take place every Friday in the heart of the Historic Core in downtown Los Angeles, featuring the same high-end production experience that fans have come to expect from an Insomniac event.

“Awakening is the result of a six-month endeavor in which Insomniac and Exchange LA worked to join the best trance and electronic dance music artists from around the world with a spectacular venue,” said Insomniac founder and CEO, Pasquale Rotella. “I’m excited that Insomniac has a permanent home in downtown Los Angeles which allows music fans to enjoy popular and emerging talent against the beautiful art deco backdrop of Exchange LA.”

Already in 2012, Insomniac and Exchange LA have hosted sold out events featuring Cosmic Gate and Carl Cox, among others. “Awakening will provide an excellent opportunity for fans of trance and electronic music to see their favorite artists in the exclusive historic interior of Exchange LA,” said Adi McAbian of Exchange LA. “We are excited that our partnership with Insomniac will allow fans to create memories each and every week.”
