Following their acclaimed ‘Worry’ EP released in December, Little Comets return to the fold with new single ‘Jennifer’, released on May 28th through Dirty Hit Records. Intricately weaving trademark afro-beat rhythms, spikey indie guitars and heartfelt melodic vocals, ‘Jennifer‘ exudes the feeling of upbeat summer euphoria and looks set to be a possible festival favourite. As lead singer Robert Coles delivers his frustrated plea to a lover, you are transported into streaming sunshine and time spent with friends.
This July will see the band perform their biggest show to date in The Olympic Torch Relay celebrations at Hyde Park, thanks to Presenting Partner Coca Cola on July 26th. Sharing the bill with Dizzee Rascal, Friendly Fires and You Me At Six this will be one of the biggest shows of the year and just a day before the opening ceremony of the Olympics itself and will also headline the north east leg of the Olympic Torch relay tour.
