First released 20 years ago and since heralded as a timeless club classic, ‘Compnded’ has remained a rightfully guarded original track since its 1992 release, quite an achievement after the immense rise of old school remixes in recent years. But all this is about to change! A firm favourite of breaks and bass music legend Krafty Kuts, ‘Compnded’ recently received the Krafty reworking magic and has quickly held its own as one of his peak set monsters, sending global crowds crazy on every play.
It was during one of these sets that Gordon Edge himself stumbled across the track, and after rushing to the DJ booth to inspect further became aware that this was a Krafty effort. What now results is the first ever Gordon approved re-release of the track, the ‘Compnded (Krafty Re-Kut)’. Due to the scale and reputation of this bonafide old school masterpiece, there will be a limited run of vinyl ripe for the purchase, featuring a remastered version of Edge *1 – ‘Compnded’ on one side, with the ‘Compnded’ Krafty Re-Kut causing chaos on the other.
