Cocoon returns with its latest mix compilation, the 10th and final instalment in their annual in-house series from Chris Tietjen. Titled ‘Zehn’, the mix cd finds former intern turned Sven Vath protégé Chris take to the helm to represent the Cocoon sound once again. What makes this chapter interesting is that it’s a retrospective selection from the past decade with Tietjen picking 36 tracks from the label’s catalogue organising it into one 80-minute mix.

You might have heard of a little place in Australia that goes by the name of Bondi Beach, well known for its laid back lifestyle and surfer-ready waves. But there’s something else this coastal hangout is recognised for producing – and that’s possibly one of Australia’s most promising DJ/producers, Hook N Sling. Hook N Sling’s ascent has been single-mindedly driven, and backed by decent productions. 

Wall of Sound recently announced details of a new label compilation ‘Walls Have Ears-21 Years Of Wall Of Sound’ to be released on 13 April 2015 through [PIAS]. The brainchild of Mark Jones - 1994 saw the launch of Wall Of Sound, and following the underground acid-house explosion of the preceding years, set about unleashing a catalogue of releases that were to become synonymous with the era; mixing sonics and genres together. First ever signing to the label, Mekon (John Gosling), describes them as “a well-oiled machine reversing into the future.”

Continuing Get On Down's People Records deluxe reissues series - which launched on Record Store Day in April 2014 with the release of the JB's classic 1972 album ‘Food For Thought’ - this unique box is the celebration of James Brown's People label and some of the imprint's most famous singles. 

Italian duo Alex Neri & Federico Grazzini are next up on Steve Lawler’s VIVa imprint to deliver three versions of ‘Desert Rose’, complemented with a deeper ‘NYC Mix’ from the UK’s Burnski who brings his groove to the release.

Glassnote Records recently announced that Robert Delong’s new single, ‘Long Way Down’, has been remixed by Sean Glass. The Sean Glass Remix premiered 21 March on KCRW as the kick off to Jason Bentley’s Metropolis radio show, and received its online premiere on Billboard on Monday. It will be up for sale on 31 March 31, along with a full EP featuring more remixes. The original EP, a follow­ up to his debut record, ‘Just Movement’, is currently available digitally everywhere.

The ninth edition of Field Day will be held at  Victoria Park, in the heart of East London on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2015 and the festival recently revealed the new line up additions that will be joining the likes of Caribou, FKA Twigs, Django Django , Run The Jewels, Hudson Mohawke, Chet Faker and Nina Kraviz on the Field Day Saturday 6 June bill.

Electric Island is back in its third annual season of the summer concert and picnic series, with a lineup of international talent. Curators Coda, Platform and Embrace present what may be the best Electric Island to date. 

Brighton Music Conference (BMC) recently announced its 2015 Academy programme, alongside the latest additions to its Professional schedule, and further tech and artist showcases across the event’s two days of master classes, panels and talks on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 June at the Brighton Dome. The event has extensively grown its Academy programme, aimed at the next generation of artists, DJs, entrepreneurs, promoters, managers and engineers, looking to break into the industry.

Lewis Fautzi returns to Soma Records in LP format once again with ‘Space Exploration’, which is out now. The album is a special collection of tracks created by Fautzi that focus on the more experimental side of techno. Never one to allow himself to get caught up in one style, Fautzi set the challenge of creating an album with more depth and insight into his creative process, basing the focus on bringing more of his emotion to the music. 

When UK funky made space for itself amid the explosion of post-millennial club sounds, East Londoner Ossie apparently helped provide some of its most interesting turns. Releasing a series of EPs for labels such as Hyperdub, 2020 Vision and Wolf Music Recordings, he's established himself as a new dance producer with a mix of African polyrhythms and weighty 4/4 house tracks.

Garden City Movement’s new track, ‘When We Had It Easy’, is taken from the trio’s forthcoming ‘Modern West EP’, which is out 6 April on The Vinyl Factory. 

The GodsKitchen worldwide resident/UltraViolet label boss has been busy of late. His ‘Zoundz’ and ‘Lucir’ collaborations (with Chris Bekker and Shadow of Two respectively) and his recent solo production ‘Tick Tock’ have both done well throughout the last half year. Now, he returns with ‘The Bells Of Assisi’, his latest track out now on Paul van Dyk’s Vandit label.

BCM Planet Dance recently announced their summer shows which include Cream, SuperMartXe, Sound of the Future and Mistajam and friends. Also on the bill is Danny Howard, who is curating a series of shows throughout the season, and BCM Presents who will also have Example and DJ Wire on rotation.

As Ultra Music Festival fast approaches its 17th annual edition and gears up to transform Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami over the weekend of 27-29 March, Ultra Worldwide delivers a short film  to encapsulate what Ultra has achieved over the past 12 months. In another collaboration between UMF Films and Charly Friedrich’s Final Kid, ‘Destination Ultra: Memories of Ultra Worldwide 2014’ documents the story of Ultra’s festivals in seven countries worldwide over the course of 2014. 

After its success last year, Kehakuma and elrow Ibiza are joining forces again every Saturday from 6 June until 26 September at Space Ibiza. The very cool South West Four 2015 in London is shaping up to be a great event this August Bank Holiday - from Faithless’ first performance in the Capital in four years, the showcase of Skrillex, to the debut of Fatboy Slim’s Smile High Club and Basement Jaxx, to the return of Eric Prydz. Now, the festival has recently announced Armin van Buuren for the event.

Young Armada producer, Felix de Laet, an up and coming artist within electronic dance music and creator of the track ‘Are You With Me’, has been given the chance to remix Armin van Buuren’s  'In And Out Of Love’. Lost Frequencies has been applying his magical touch to the original, featuring the vocals of Within Temptation singer Sharon den Adel, which gives the track a summery vibe.

Erol Alkan returns to the United States with a limited schedule of club sets in addition to two shows at Indio's Coachella Festival of Music and Art. Having recently scooped DJ Mag’s ‘Compilation of the Year’ for his ‘Fabriclive 77’ mix, itself following on from his ‘Illumination’ EP of solo material, Alkan remains as imaginative and uncompromising behind the decks as ever.

Karin Park invites you to share their stories with the world: be a part of the Official Video for her poignant track ‘Human Beings’, inspired by her partner’s battle with cancer. The track shows Karin expanding from her original electro-pop persona down into darker territories; in this moving composition, she has used her music as a form of cathartic expression, helping her to cope with her partner’s harrowing battle with throat cancer. 

After last year's daytime collaboration of music and tomfoolery, Just Jack and Stamp The Wax are back together for round two of their outdoor soirée - 'Lets Take This Outside!' on Saturday 6 June. This time Just Jack are taking over two gritty urban spaces in the Motion complex: the Crane Yard and front courtyard, neither of which have been used before as outdoor arenas. 

Oasis is set to bring a new festival experience to Morocco with its debut event. Taking place from 11-13 September 2015, Oasis, the first festival of its kind in Marrakech, will offer up an unexplored festival paradise, in the idyllic surroundings of the Fellah Hotel. The first wave of acts were recently revealed, with headline guests including DJ Harvey, Innervisions’ Âme and an exclusive B2B set from Guy Gerber and Matthew Dear. 

Following on from Tensnake's debut album 'Glow' (which won the coveted iTunes Dance Album of 2014), tomorrow, Friday 13 March sees Marco Niemerski return to U Street Music Hall in Washington for a series of headline US shows, culminating in a prestigious peak time slot at Ultra Music Festival in Miami on Sunday 29 March. 

Possibly one of last year's biggest breakout stars, Oliver Heldens, recently announced his new single, ‘Melody’, due out on Monday 26 March via Spinnin' Records. 

After a decent start to 2015 by dropping two tracks, Jes gets ready to release volume 3 of her ‘Unleash The Beat’ mix compilation series on 23 March. Sourced from her weekly mix show of the same name, the release is a 2CD/double mix package. 

As Ultra Europe gears up for its third annual edition in July 2015, they recently made the announcement that the DJ Magazine-voted World’s #1 DJ, Hardwell, will be returning to the Poljud Stadium for a third consecutive year.

New World Punx – aka  Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten – recently released their new single ‘Memories’ ft. Cara Salimando. This is the first official vocal track from the duo; out now via ‘New World Punx Music’ through Black Hole Recordings.

With a busy touring schedule and a host of remixes, Kid Arkade are already in the midst of a decent 2015. ‘Not Alone’, the newest single to come from the enigmatic duo, is now available to stream online and is the latest music delivered by the British outfit. Taking a step away from their electro-house roots, they have enlisted the help of Josh Franceschi of You Me At Six to provide the vocals on the emotionally charged song. 

Sasha has just released his new two-tracker ‘Vapourspace’ on his own Last Night On Earth imprint. It may have been some time since the DJ/producer and label head released his last solo material, although he’s been remixing tracks such as London Grammar’s ‘Hey Now’, and collaborations with the likes of James Teej and Joel Mull. 

On Thursday and Friday 12 and 13 March, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso will release their new music videos for the tracks ‘On My Way’ and ‘Can't Hold Us Down’ from their forthcoming album on Virgin EMI. With a string of hits and more than 15 million combined record sales spanning their careers, the newly formed duo are ready to unleash their new project. The videos - directed by Christian Larson - will premiere on VEVO and the band's online hub axwellingrosso.tv. 

The 30^th annual Winter Music Conference usually showcases a soundtrack that heats up the dancefloor quicker than the Miami sun and influences industry movers and shakers as much as the week itself. In celebration of this, Zulu Records have honoured the forthcoming WMC with another themed compilation.

Wolv records hosts its first label night during the Miami Music Meek on Saturday, 28 March. With a lineup featuring Headhunterz, Milo&Otis, Wiwek, Lucky Date and Dyro himself, and with more guests set to be announced closer to the night, this should be a popular night for the label.

Jaymo & Andy George’s Moda Black label continues with its next release, ‘Human Chemistry’, from Theo Kottis. UK producer Theo has released on the label before with his 'Waiting Game’ tracks receiving support from the likes of Pete Tong and Solomun and his remix of Groove Armada’s ‘You Got To’ pricking up ears. 

Following a fruitful year with releases on the likes of Cocoon, Ovum Recordings, Bedrock, Poker Flat and Planet E, Glasgow’s Vince Watson kick-starts 2015 with a debut release on Osunlade’s Yoruba Records imprint. For those unfamiliar with Watson he has been producing electronic music for 20 years now.

After the release of the ‘Miami 2014’ and ‘ADE 2014’ compilations, Nicky Romero is back again to present the 2015 rendition which includes a selection of artists from Protocol Recordings. The album showcases both Protocol and Nicky’s taste and style in dance music. 

Following a string of album initiating tracks, this week saw ‘Politics 3’ flip its fourth co-op card. Having already teamed up with Ummet Ozcan, Aly & Fila and others, ‘Louder’ finds Paul van Dyk sharing studio time with Roger Shah. Adding to the track’s equation is Australian-born/Singapore-raised/Manhattan-based singer Daphne Khoo. 

Live electronic duo, Goldfish, recently announced their forthcoming Organic House US Tour. Kicking off proceedings on 12 March at the Bootleg Hifi in Los Angeles, California, the pair will be making their way across the United States, delivering their live instrumental and electronic sounds to 14 cities across the country. 

Legendary NYC label Strictly Rhythm celebrates its 25 year anniversary with a new range of t-shirts, with unique designs incorporating photos from 90s photojournalist Alice Arnold. The first two t-shirts are the first designs of a new range featuring Alice Arnold’s club photography, shot at various venues in New York between 1990 and 1999. 

Creamfields recently announced more acts for this year’s festival. First up are five acts all making their festival debut, including Norway’s KYGO, who’ll be joining the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Above & Beyond and Annie Mac. He along with Thomas George will be bringing a tropical twist to Saturdays North Stage.

With his third artist album, ‘In The Process Of Eight’, Yousef marries an ongoing desire to labour dancefloors with a thirst to exhibit the range of musical influences he’s developed in a 15-year career as a DJ and producer. Sticking with the 4/4 beat on this project, he weaves through a variety of electronic music. Sultry vocals sit next to Chicago rhythms, elevating moments couple up with cinematic techno, all pulsating to the heartbeat of house.

The seeds for this collaboration between Nick Warren and Guy Mantzur were sown a long time ago during snatched conversations at airport terminals, online and at various shows around the world. But, their hectic schedules has meant that patience has been a necessary virtue when it came to actually finding time to work together on this new project. However, the final product, ‘Sad Robot’, finally gets set for release on John Digweed’s Bedrock label.

Dim Mak recently announced they’ve signed Crookers forthcoming album, ‘Sixteen Chapel’. Anchored by the single ‘I Just Can’t’ featuring Jeremih, which is out 14 April, the album features collaborations with TJR, Zombie Nation, Antwon, STS and more. In support of the album, Crookers will hit the road for a North American tour including a featured slot on Dim Mak’s Miami event, plus stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin for SXSW, New York City and more.

Ministry of Sound presents its new series of mixes, ‘Our House Is Your House’, and announces Grammy Award-nominated DJ/producer Todd Terry as its first curator, with his two disc compilation set for release 30 March 2015. A huge resurgence in house music over the past few years has led to a big focus on the DJs who were at its forefront, and this brand new compilation series aims to reflect the purveyors of that scene. 

Rising from the underground, DJ S.K.T’s sound has gained support across the board, including Radio 1/1xtra DJs such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong and DJ Target to producers like MK and Amine Edge. 

I’m A House Gangster get set for a busy year ahead for their label, kicking off proceedings with the triple tracker ‘Past To Future EP’ from Toronto’s Demuir. Opening up the party is the jackin groove, 

‘Whatchuwhoooooant?!’, topped with a spoken word with lyrics inspired by people with insecurities who act irresponsibly. 

Over the years Ferry Corsten has released a steady stream of new music, which is set to continue as he recently announced a fresh new series which aims to showcase his artistic skill and range as a producer. The ‘Hello World EP’ is the first output in a series of three. Consisting of seven unique tracks, they span elements of genres from electro to progressive, trance, tech, house and beyond.

Germany’s Reboot returns with ‘The Frenchie Thing EP’, a three-track release which is out today on Defected Records. Opening the EP, title track ‘The Frenchie Thing’ is a great start and has a looped sample throughout, evoking heady summer nights and thronging, sun-kissed dancefloors. 

Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings has grown to become a popular dance music label. Bass music artist Benny Page recently announced his new single, ‘Party With You’ featuring Sweetie Irie, to be released by High Culture and Rise Artists on 29 March 2015 and premiered by Mistajam on BBC Radio 1. Following on from the success of ‘Champion Sound’, his previous hit single, Benny has been recognised for his work, which was noted by his first live concert being sponsored by DJ Mag at The Jazz Cafe in London.
