Possibly known as one of Ibiza’s most respected electronic music gatherings, ANTS invades London’s Electric Brixton on Saturday 27 February for its debut party in the capital, with a line-up featuring Andrea Oliva, Lauren Lane, Noir, Secondcity, and Waze & Odyssey.

Volume 9 of the latest ‘A Disco Love Affair’ pays homage to the long-standing love affair between dance music and disco. Kindred spirits, they have kept the sparks of the underground alive through almost five decades. Released on Valentine’s Day, Future Disco’s latest edition honours seven years and nine episodes experience exploring the limits of what defines the genre and how it exists in the present moment. 

After the initial taster line-up at the end of last year, The Electric Frog and Pressure  recently revealed the next batch of acts to join the Riverside Festival line-up, including Len Faki, Julio Bashmore, Karenn (live), Robert Hood : Floorplan, Prosumer, Carl Craig, Nina Kraviz, Ben UFO, Joy Orbison, Midland and the addition of Cocoon hosting two stages at the event.

‘Kitsuné New Faces II’ is the latest compilation of newcomers from the cool French label. Following in the footsteps of last year’s first edition, ‘Kitsuné New Faces II’ features 15 new artists that have only just started releasing music. From start to end, the album unveils fresh musical directions complimented with some catchy melodies.

Terence:Terry: recently unveiled the debut mix compilation on the La Vie En Rose label, titled ‘House Couture’, a nod to his hand in the world of fashion. Over the past three years, Terence:Terry: has established La Vie En Rose as a contemporary underground label from Paris. 

Festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partners Tennent’s Lager yesterday revealed The Libertines will headline T in the Park 2015. The group are the very first act to be announced for this year’s festival – the first to be held at T in the Park’s brand new home, Strathallan Castle, which will take place across the weekend of 10-12 July 2015. The band played T in the Park in 2004, and this July they return as a reunited and re-energised outfit in what should be a top headline set at T in the Park’s beautiful new home.

Celebrating a landmark anniversary for one of the most influential house music labels of all time, ‘Strictly DJ T.: 25 Years of Strictly Rhythm’ is a new mix album celebrating the rich musical history of the legendary imprint. Mixed by Get Physical founder and long-term Strictly fan DJ T., the compilation includes tracks from Strictly artists including Logic, Aly-Us, DJ Pierre, Hardrive, DJ Sneak, Wink and many more, with a brand new edit of each track provided by DJ T. himself. 

‘Yai’ is the instrumental track from last year from Cosmic Gate’s ‘Start To Feel’ album. Now it returns as a vocal and their first single of 2015. Bringing a fresh angle to the track is JES, the songstress behind Motorcycle’s legendary ‘As The Rush Comes’, previous Cosmic Gate track ‘Flying Blind’ and many more. 

Gansevoort Hotel Group recently coupled with EDM’s Manufactured Superstars to create a tailor-made soundtrack for its portfolio of lifestyle resorts. Purveyors of “mash-up” and “open-format” DJ performances, Bradley Roulier and Shawn Sabo, also known as the Manufactured Superstars, have created ‘Suite Beats,’ two custom musical mixes inspired by the daytime vibe and nightlife scene for which Gansevoort is best known. 

Kid Crème has finally given those into his bass-heavy brand of house music what they have been asking for – new material. Following a meeting at last year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, a deal was struck with one of the majors (in fact the label who released KC’s ‘Hypnotising' single) to release new track 'Look For Me’ a collaboration with NZ producer Jolyon Petch in 2015.

Justin Jay releases the Annie Mac BBC Radio 1 premiere of his remix of Disciples ‘They Don't Know’ on SoundCloud. As he finishes his last semester at the University of Southern California, this 22-year-old dirtybird protégé is possibly on the cusp of the breakthrough that his supporters have been waiting for. 

After a successful year which saw collaborations with some of dance music’s hot commodities including Martin Garrix and Dzeko & Torres as well as his first ever headlining tour, MOTi could be set to raise his profile even further.

Australian-born Christian Vance has been producing and performing his own music since the late-90s. Over the years his live format performances have gleaned a reputation for an enigmatic Detroit-influenced output which blurs the lines between house and techno. He has collaborated with a multitude of artists that include Derrick May, Carl Craig & Kirk Degiorgio, to have amassed a back catalogue that stretches across Perspectiv, Haul Music, Art of Vengeance and Nightime Drama.

On Saturday, 27 and Sunday 28  June 2015, the 15th edition of Awakenings festival will take place on Spaarnwoude Houtrak, near Amsterdam. The festival site, open from noon till 11 on both days, will see more than 100 artists performing in eight areas.

History - A Journey Through House - takes place on Saturday 7 March at Magna Science and Adventure Park in Sheffield. Headlining across five arenas will be over 50 DJs and live PAs who have all made a contribution to house music ever since its birth back in the ‘80s right up to the modern day.

This March will see the Leftroom imprint offer up ‘Call Of The Cuckoo’, a two-tracker release from ViVa Music’s Steve Lawler. Steve has been at the top of his game for close to two decades now having been DJing in Ibiza, London and further afield. Since the mid-90s, 2006 saw the launch of his ViVA Music imprint, which over the years has welcomed many of today’s artists onto its roster. 

After a year that saw him retain his crown as DJ Magazine’s #1 DJ for a second consecutive year, Hardwell now delivers his debut album ‘United We Are’. Featuring collaborations with both Dutch and international artists, possibly the most notable pairing is with Jason Derulo, which resulted in the song ‘Follow Me’. The album also features tracks with Mr. Probz, Tiësto and singer-songwriter Andreas Moe. 

This month Ben Gomori launches his new imprint Monologues Records alongside Saytek with ‘Water & Absinthe’. The fresh Monologues imprint from Ben is an extension of his up-and-coming podcast series under the same name which has racked up over 150,000 plays since it started back in the summer of 2013. The podcast features guests who are invited on to mix an hour of their own material, the first of which from Patrice Baumel secured Resident Advisor’s ‘Mix Of The Day’ while names such as Till Von Sein, Melon, Jori Hulkkonen, Nail, James Welsh and Adam Port have all featured.

Toolroom Records release their latest compilation, ‘Miami Underground 2015’, which blends brand new exclusives and some of this year's hottest alternative tracks from many well known DJs and producers.

BH Mallorca, the new hotel and events complex for summer 2015, recently announced its first confirmed act at STAGE, Mallorca’s only open-air festival venue. Steve Angello will be hosting his Size Matters residency, which will appear exclusively five times throughout the summer, headlined each time by Steve, with special guests to be announced. 

Having recently announced his World Tour 2015 series, Markus Schulz now drops the first track to be taken from the compilation, ‘Bayfront (Miami)’, which is available now via Coldharbour Recordings. Known for his annual city compilations, Markus has added a fresh twist for the New Year to bring clubbers a concept that will see him release a brand new track each month dedicated to, and recorded at, a city that he is playing that month. 

Bedrock launches into 2015 with a double-header from two artists from the revolution that is currently happening in the Romanian electronic scene – Atapy & BOg. Whether it's the deeply uplifting melodies and strings of  ‘Strung’, or the more intense melancholic journey of ‘Despair’, this could be a duo to watch this year. 

Australia’s Will Sparks recently released the official video for the title track from his debut EP, ‘Another Land’. Released via Ultra Music in late December, the ‘Another Land’ EP did well for the Melbourne DJ/producer as he assembled eight of his latest tracks into one package. 

It is known around the world for its explosion of colour, costumes, character and candour and now the Carnival is back in Brazil once again in 2015. To celebrate the fact, Brazilian club D-Edge is planning a run of events that carry on throughout the Brazilian summer. 

Dannic kicks off 2015 by announcing his brand new residency at Las Vegas’ Drai’s, with the first date penned for Valentine’s Day, 14 Feb. Hardwell on Dannic: “Dannic is every DJ’s favourite DJ right now, effortless selection and flow, 2015 will be his year.” 

London producer Ray Foxx returns this month with a reboot of his own track ‘Curious’. Since releasing his track 'Boom Boom (Heartbeat)' with Rachel K Collier in 2013, Ray has released a steady diet of remixes and tunes. 

The latest in Defected’s series of mix albums, ‘Defected In The House Miami 2015’ presents three 3CDs of house music from some of the scene’s leading artists, including Soul Clap, Maya Jane Coles, Terrence Parker, Hercules & Love Affair, The Juan MacLean, Guti, Groove Armada and many more.

Throughout his career, DJ/producer Ferry Corsten has paved the way with a steady stream of electronic output. Signalling his intent for the upcoming year, Corsten has announced the launch of a new EP series that will showcase his production capabilities in full. Set for release on 23 February 23 via his own Flashover Recordings, the first three tracks to be taken from the ‘Hello World EP Part 1’ are available to stream now.

After last month’s ‘Power Now’ track, French group Dirtyphonics return with the ‘Write Your Future EP’, due out 17 February on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records. The heavy-metal meets D&B blended track, ‘Power Now’, featuring Matt Rose, gets momentum going for the forthcoming EP. 

DJ/producer and label head Robbie Rivera goes back to his roots with another sultry single to add to his discography. ‘Sexy Anytime’ featuring Miami's Billy W is out now on iTunes through Rivera's own Juicy Music imprint and will be accompanied by remixes from Frederico Scavo, DJ PP and Tom Sawyer on 23 February. 

Europe’s best music festivals, artists and promoters of 2014 were revealed at the 6th annual European Festival Awards, which took place last night at Groningen’s De Oosterpoort in The Netherlands, crowning the opening night of Eurosonic Noorderslag. The ceremony also featured some new European artists with performances from Danish electro-pop’s MØ, London-based R&B musician Jack Garratt and Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora Asknes.

Named 2014’s third most legally downloaded artist on BitTorrent behind Thom Yorke and Diplo, 2014 has been one of Gramatik’s best years to date. Now, coming off the ‘Leave Your Mark’ tour that took him and his fellow Lowtemp label mates around Europe and the US, Denis Jašarević recently announced that he will be returning to play at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre with special guest Cherub on 9 May.    

Spanning 200 releases over the past decade, Coldharbour Recordings story undertakes a new chapter beginning in 2015 by joining the family at Black Hole distribution. The label, founded by Markus Schulz, has released tracks on various genres from its label roster. Along with being the home of the Miami native's singles (the latest being ‘Winter Kills Me’ featuring Lady V), artists such as KhoMha, Nifra, Grube & Hovsepian, Fisherman & Hawkins, M.I.K.E. Push, and Mr. Pit continue to feature in the playlists of many DJs.

Kolombo is a man of many monikers and many genres. Over the years he has compiled a discography, with releases on the likes of Kompakt to 2DIY4 and releasing the track, 'My Own Business'. Head honcho of Loulou Records alongside Jérôme Denis, the two curate the label with a firm house policy, while searching for the next big name to take the scene by storm. 

Massachusetts-raised Kap Slap arrived on the scene with a supply of bootlegs, mash-ups and mixtapes. Having now accomplished a college degree, begins a new chapter in his career and pursues music full-time as the 24-year-old debuts his introductory single, ‘Let It All Out’, on Ultra Music. 

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House label has just released ‘Magic’, the new track from Yves V & Sidney Samson. A name synonymous with the imprint since its conception, Belgian artist Yves V has created some of the biggest tracks Smash The House has released to-date, from the Tomorrowland after movie tune ‘King Cobra’, over to ‘Crash’ back in May last year.

The Gallery gets set for its 2015 Opening Party, which will feature Simon Patterson. The brand re-launches its weekly big room clubbing experience on Friday 23 January at Ministry of Sound with a line up that includes Simon, Jon Askew, Blazer, indecent Noise and The Gallery residents.  

Ahead of Hardwell’s forthcoming album, ‘United We Are’, he recently released a preview of album opener ‘Eclipse’. Originally debuted during Hardwell’s closing set at Ultra Music Festival Miami 2014, and currently sitting in the iTunes Dance Top 10, this song may be familiar to some as it's continued to be played during his live sets throughout last year and now in 2015.

Since her simultaneous debut/breakthrough alongside James Holden on ‘Nothing’, Julie Thompson has continued to do well… she’s been the voice/front-woman on hits from a wide range of producers, Tiësto, the Freemasons, Sean Tyas and the Freestylers to name but a few. 

'Toolroom Mexico' complements what is set to be a series of gigs with label newcomers, Thee Cool Cats, stepping up to mix the compilation. 

Armin van Buuren recently released the official anthem for the A State of Trance Festival tour, called ‘Together (In A State Of Trance)’. The ASOT Festival will span multiple continents and be the largest and most ambitious ASOT celebration in history. The Celebration Weekend of ASOT Episode #700, will be hosted in Australia, in Sydney on 6 February and Melbourne on 7 February, during which a selection of trance DJs will take the stage. 

Following the release of his album ‘Dim Division’ last October on Soul Heaven, Miguel Migs is releasing three new re-works of his track with Mishel N, entitled ‘What Do You Want’. With the Salted Vocal mix from himself and a Remix and Dub from Rodriguez Jr the release also includes the album version of the track. 

Richie Hawtin is set to bring his award-winning ENTER. concept to East London’s Tobacco Dock on Saturday 11 April, in what will be the event’s only UK date of 2015. ENTER. first began in summer of 2012, with Hawtin taking up a Thursday night residency at Space Ibiza. 

Hector launches new events concept 'Vatos Locos', which is set to showcase for the first time at the BPM festival in Mexico, on 17 January. Vatos Locos is an event concept created by Hector that brings together the main driving forces behind his creativity, music, lifestyle, culture and tequila. The name has followed him around over the past few years and has developed into an organic translation of the energy that Hector personifies with the music he produces, his personal clothing style, and his DJ performances. 

Ultra Music Festival recently revealed Phase One of the DJ and Live Performance lineup for its 17th annual edition, taking place on 27, 28 and 29 March, 2015 at the  Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. Avicii will make his return to the newly designed Ultra Main Stage having missed his 2014 performance due to illness. Fellow countrymen Axwell^Ingrosso will be making their debut as a duo at Ultra Music Festival Miami, following their set at Ultra Japan in September 2014 and scheduled headlining sets at both Ultra South Africa and Buenos Aires in February 2015. 

Ministry of Sound reopens on Saturday 17 January with a label showcase featuring French DJ/producer Tchami, Dutch house producer Mike Mago, British house music duo X-Press 2 and the UK’s Copy Paste Soul. Since starting out in 2013, Tchami aka Martin Bresso from Paris has already taken his ‘future house’ sound on tours with Diplo, Skrillex and DJ Snake and has collaborated with Oliver $, Aluna George, Jack U, Mercer and more. 

Kicking off 2015 in an underground style, 'Rhythm Distrikt 08' delivers a big line-up of the some of the best in undiscovered rumbling techno and tech house beats. 

Noir Music recently announced the forthcoming self-titled studio album from Noir. Arguably best known for his track ‘Around’, Noir now drops his debut studio album, a project that has been nearly half a decade in the making. ‘Around’, a synthesiser-tinted groove featuring vocalist Hayze was played in clubs around the world for close to two years, possibly making Noir a household name across clubland. And it’s still as popular as ever – the Solomon Vox remix of ‘Around’ has amassed more than 12 million views on YouTube.

Coming off of his latest production, ‘Last All Night (Koala)’, Oliver Heldens releases Michael Calfan's remix of ‘Koala’ via Spinnin' Records, along with its official music video. Last year, Oliver scored a big hit with ‘Koala’ and it was recently released with a vocal treatment from KStewart, which brought a new element to revamp the tune. Now it's seeing a makeover by the French DJ/producer who's known for his 2014 smash, ‘Treasured Soul’.

On the 19th and 20th of December, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike showcased to a home nation crowd their new global tour concept – Bringing The World The Madness. Taking over Antwerp’s Sportpaleis Antwerpen for a double header of shows the duo gave fans, and the many watching in via the official live stream, an introduction to their live tour show.

EGG London has lined up Stimming, Lee van Dowski, Adana Twins, Kerri Chandler, Omar S, Nick Curly and many more for the first three months of the year. Exploited Records come to town on 9 January with Adana Twins and Joyce Muniz in tow. The night after it’s Sebastian Leger, then on the 16th Audiojack make a return with Waifs & Strays. 

French techno and electronic music label, A-Traction returns with a new single from emerging talent Eggo, featuring a remix from Shekon. Marc Ayats’ A-Traction label has been pushing quality electronic music and more for close on 15 years now, collaborating with artists such as Traumer, Vitalic, Agoria, Scan X and the Youngsters to name but a few. Based in Dijon in the French heartland, the imprint has built a decent reputation and received commendations from magazines such as Trax and Tsugi for its eclectic take on techno.

Possibly one of Revealed’s future break-out stars, Portuguese DJ/producer Kura recently released his solo Revealed debut ‘Makhor’, to end 2014 in style. After releasing on the first ever Revealed talent EP ‘Ammonia’ back in 2011, Kura’s productions have sent his career on an upward trajectory as he entered into the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll at #42 in 2014.

Loui is an accomplished young DJ/producer from Madrid, Spain who produces modern techno tracks. His work has been supported by DJs such as Technasia, Carl Cox, Ricardo Villalobos, Metric, David Squillace and Sander Kleinenberg to name a few. 

Leftroom Ltd kick starts 2015 with the ‘Disappear’ EP from Mineo, comprising three original tracks from the London-based producer. Mineo has done well over the past year having unleashed an array of material via the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations, Hypercolour and Southern Fried Records. Here he adds Leftroom to his affiliations, offer up this new three-tracker via its Ltd sub-label.

This month Rich Wakley releases his ‘Rough Cut’ EP on Mile End Records with a Darius Syrossian remix in tow. Since arriving onto the production scene in 2006 Rich has achieved success under various aliases and monikers and has stacked up a discography of over 100 productions and remixes on labels such as OFF Recordings, Roush, Great Stuff, 1605 and Resonance Records.

Riding high off the ‘Feet On The Ground’ remix package from 24 November, Nicky Romero’s label Protocol Recordings recently released a collection of remixes for ‘Let Me Feel’, Nicky’s collaborative track with Vicetone and vocalists When We Are Wild.
