Lyric Hood returns with a new solo release for 2024. ‘That Bass’, which is out now on M-Plant. She made her first DJ appearance at her own sweet-16 party, attentively guided by her father and went on to perform Christian techno with a gospel choir before becoming obsessed with the idea of making music. That's when Robert Hood suggested she join Floorplan.

Created as an outlet to explore his soulful, spiritual influences, Robert Hood’s Floorplan project has apparently become a name synonymous with gospel-inspired house music. Welcoming daughter Lyric to the Floorplan fold in 2014, the pair have been behind cuts in the last decade such as ‘Tell You No Lie’ and ‘Never Grow Old’.
