Given its initial outing on Japanese label Mule Musiq, now Luke Solomon’s Classic imprint picks up Montreal based producer Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts’ ‘The Chase’ for 2021. Featuring an uplifting, jazzy vocal from San Francisco vocalist Dave Aju, this dancefloor track makes an ideal fit for Classic’s repertoire of music.
Long-time friend of the label Harry Romero steps up on remix duties for the package, delivering his rework that pays homage to the back-catalogue essentials of Luke’s imprint. With the original already a staple for DC10 residents, this Jersey native is a candidate to recondition ‘The Chase’ for Classic’s crew of club heads.
